Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess any of the following qualifications:
- LLB (Bachelor of Law) with at least 55% marks and 2 years of relevant work experience after graduation.
OR - LLM (Master of Law) with at least 55% marks and 1 year of relevant work experience after post-graduation.
Experience Requirements
- For LLB holders: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in relevant legal fields.
- For LLM holders: Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience.
- Candidates having knowledge and practical experience in Company Act, Contract Act, and procurement laws will be given preference.
Age Limit
- The candidate’s age should not exceed 45 years as on 08 September 2025.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in English and Gujarati languages
- Sound knowledge of computer applications
- Ability to draft, vet, and interpret contracts, agreements, and legal documents
Job Responsibilities of Manager (Legal)
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing legal support and advice to GMSCL on various matters.
- Drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts, MoUs, and agreements.
- Ensuring compliance with the Companies Act, Contract Act, and procurement guidelines.
- Coordinating with external legal consultants and government authorities.
- Handling disputes, arbitration, and litigation cases.
- Supporting procurement, tenders, and other legal documentation processes.
This position is ideal for candidates who are confident in handling corporate legal matters and are willing to work in the public sector environment.
Salary and Benefits
- The selected candidate will receive a fixed monthly salary of ₹35,000/- (consolidated).
- Since this is a contractual appointment, no additional allowances, pension, or permanent government benefits will be applicable.
