The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Nadiad has announced recruitment for the year 2025 under the Integrated Child Protection Scheme. This scheme, initiated by the Government of India and implemented through the Department of Women and Child Development, Gujarat, aims to safeguard children in need of care and protection.
As part of this initiative, the DCPU is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the positions of Protection Officer (Institutional Care) and Protection Officer (Non-Institutional Care). These posts will be filled on a contractual basis. Interested candidates are required to attend a walk-in interview on the scheduled date with necessary documents.

- Post Graduate degree in Social Work / Sociology / Child Development / Human Rights / Public Administration / Psychology / Psychiatry / Law / Public Health / Community Resource Management from a recognized University.
- OR Graduate in any of the above fields with minimum 2 years’ experience in project formulation, implementation, monitoring, and supervision (preferably in the field of Women & Child Development / Social Welfare).
- Skills Required: Proficiency in computers.
- Age Limit: 21 to 40 years.

Important Instructions for Candidates
- These posts are purely contractual and will not guarantee permanent employment under the government.
- Selected candidates will be placed under the District Child Protection Unit, Nadiad, and will be responsible for implementing child welfare activities.
- Candidates must bring original certificates along with self-attested photocopies of their educational qualifications, experience certificates, age proof, and other necessary documents at the time of the interview.
- No TA/DA will be provided to candidates appearing for the interview.
